This 907 cylinder head has been fully rebuilt with no expense spared
It is suitable for immediate installation on any Lotus Esprit, Eclat or Elite that has a 2.0 litre engine.
Work carried out includes the following -
1) Cylinder head completely dismantled including the removal of the valve seats and valve guides
2) 12 new stainless steel exhaust studs
3) 8 new hardened inlet valve seats fitted and machined (suitable to run on unleaded fuel)
4) 8 new hardened exhaust valve seats fitted and machined (suitable to run on unleaded fuel)
5) 8 new bronze inlet valve guides fitted and upgraded with VITON stem seals to improve reliability
6) 8 new bronze exhaust valve guides fitted and upgraded with VITON stem seals to improve reliability
7) 8 new exhaust valves supplied and fitted
8) 16 new valve guides diamond honed to provide correct guide to valve stem clearance
9) 16 new heavy duty duplex valve springs supplied and fitted (105 lbs pressure at installed height)
10) Cylinder head has been soda-blasted and pressure tested
11) Flame face machined perfectly flat
12) Inlet manifold face machined flat and all fixing holes fully heli-coiled
13) Exhaust manifold face machined flat and all fixing holes fully heli-coiled
14) Inlet cam housing mating face machined flat and all fixing holes fully heli-coiled
15) Exhaust cam housing mating face machined flat and all fixing holes fully heli-coiled
16) 8 new stainless steel Welch (core) plugs supplied and fitted
17) Cylinder head fully assembled and ready for immediate installation
18) The valve springs and retainers have been treated with an anti-corrosion coating (CRC Soft-Seal)
