QUESTION.
I can find no info on where the jack-points are for my Lotus Eclat S2 front and rear.
There is nothing in the workshop manual so could you please help?
T.P. - NSW
ANSWER.
Don't be surprised but most Lotus manuals omit a lot of useful information.

Despite what the owners handbook says, it is safer to lift these vehicles on the chassis with a soft piece of timber placed on a low profile hydraulic jack.
Best location at the front of the vehicle, is to lift underneath the front suspension towers.
Its difficult to access a convenient location at the rear of the chassis but underneath the differential is ideal.
