I like to make my stock standard 1999 S1 go as fast as possible
What would you please suggest for my K series engin?
I am interested in supercharging or turbo
Can you offer the parts necessary to do a Honda K20a conversion?
If so, how much please

ANSWER
The Elise S1 is not a good platform to modify because of the Rover K-Series engine
The Rover engine design is not robust enough to be modified by adding a turbo or super-charger.
In other words there are reliability issues
If you wish to go down this path then we highly recommend a later Elise 111S that has a Toyota 1ZZ-FE engine
This Toyota engine is very reliable and will handle the extra power
If you decide to go down this path then it is recommended the clutch and brakes be upgraded.
