Does Lotus Marques stock Lotus part number 036J6043 which is a special adjuster nut for the hand brake caliper linkage?
Would it be OK to use a nyloc nut as an alternative as the threads on my adjuster nuts are badly worn?

Lotus Marques manufactures a high quality replacement for the original adjuster nut 036J6043 that fits the Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan +2.
This component is an extended nut with a hex and flutes machined from stainless steel to provide an extended service life.
Nyloc nuts may appear to be a viable alternative but it is difficult to access the original adjuster (longer nut).
The adjuster nut location is recessed within the mechanical linkage which makes access and adjustment limited.
