This timing chain tensioner bracket is fully CNC machined from high tensile steel alloy 4140.
The steel bracket is a direct replacement for the original bronze component (part number 026E0012) and is suitable for both 701M and 711M tall block installations.
This high quality component has been carefully designed to provide additional reliability for street and race applications.
The overall length of the bracket has been increased so it is ideally suited for large capacity Lotus Twin Cam engines built on a Ford 1600cc 711M cylinder block.
Extending the length of the bracket allows the tensioner piston to locate correctly on the contact pad when a twin cam cylinder head is installed on a tall cylinder block.
To complement this bracket, Lotus Marques can supply a longer tensioner piston and threaded adjuster.
Tensioner bracket weight = 275 grams
The brackets are zinc plated and passivated to provide long term corrosion protection.
An internal bronze bush provides an excellent bearing surface for the pivot pin location.
