Here is a test rig with an integral adapter that allows the internal oil pump relief valve operating pressure to be checked accurately.
The test rig design was inspired when a customer brought his Turbo Esprit to our workshop after a local competitor failed to correctly diagnose an engine over pressure problem.
The rig is simple to use and all that is necessary is for the upper pump body and internal rotor assembly be removed prior to operation.
