Lotus Marques has known the owner of this Lotus Elan series 3 for twenty years or more.
The Elan had a ten year rest from being a daily driver and then the owner decided it was time for it to return to the road.
Initially the plan was to refurbish the brakes, install new pads and change the engine oil.
It soon became apparent this Elan was in need of major restoration work.
