I have just received the fuel pump supplied by Lotus Marques for this 1989 carbureted Esprit turbo.
Does the electric fuel pump have fuel pump fuse and or relay?

ANSWER
The fuel pump has a slave relay and fuse that can be found in the ignition box.
This box and its contents can be accessed on the right-hand-side of the rear luggage compartment.
There is simple cover needs to be removed by unscrewing the fasteners located at each corner.
The fuel pump relay and fuse are clearly identified in the above illustration.
