QUESTION
Now I have just ordered a CV driveshaft conversion from Lotus Marques, I do have just one question -
Do your rear CV drive assemblies limit the suspension droop if some “clown” jacks the car by the chassis ??
C.B - New Zealand
ANSWER
The rear shock absorbers must always limit the suspension travel at full droop
The CV drive-shaft is not designed do this - if it did then it would damage the CV joint
This is why during installation it is imperative to check there is axle movement at full suspension droop as well as normal ride height.
