I have a 1979 Lotus Esprit S2.
Would you supply replacement steering rack tie rods?
Would you know if both tie rods are different lengths?

ANSWER.
Lotus Marques can supply new replacement tie-rods for your Esprit S2 steering rack.
If you check the Lotus Service Parts Manual, there is only mention of replacing the entire steering rack (and not individual parts such as the tie-rods)
Lotus Marques also offers a comprehensive service to rebuild Lotus Esprit steering racks but we need to receive a complete rack.

The tie rods should be identical in length.
If the tie-rods were not of equal length, then this would have an adverse affect on bump-steer and the maximum turn lock angle from side to side.
