I am toying with the idea of fitting a lotus twin cam head onto the 1600 GT Kent engine in my Ford capri.
Can you give me an idea on parts required and prices there of to complete this job please?

There are several ways you can do this
But first some questions for you
What bore size is the existing engine?
I assume you already have a TC head, is so what condition is it in?
The components and machining operations you require are listed as follows -
1) Front timing chest
1a) Water pump internal components, including bearing, impellor, spacer etc.
2) Timing chest to cylinder block adapter plate
3) TC crankshaft timing sprocket
4) Longer timing chain
5) New timing chain tensioner assembly with longer piston and thread
6) Longer timing chain tensioner bronze quadrant
7) Set of new pistons
8) Costs for re-bore and honing
9) Depending on what compression height pistons you choose, it maybe necessary to machine/deck the block
10) Gasket set
11) Exhaust manifold
12) Flexible mounts for carburettors
13) Cylinder head to block breather tube
14) Suitably graphed distributor
15) Set of high quality ignition leads
16) Off-set dowels for adjusting camshaft timing

You should also consider upgrading the brakes with this engine modification
