QUESTION
I am re-assembling my rear wheel bearing hubs with the outboard drive-shafts and new bearings.
When installing the larger bearing (FAG) does the longer collar point inwards (towards the
outer?

ANSWER
You are correct, the inner (larger) wheel bearing with the extended inner race should have the off-set collar pointing inwards towards the outer (narrower) bearing.
