QUESTION
I am attempting to remove the front fuse block and perch on my 88/89 Lotus Esprit turbo
There are two screws holding it to the front bulkhead.
Are there any loose nuts at the ends?
Is something gonna drop if I take them out?
C.G. - USA
ANSWER
The nuts on the inside (cabin-side) of the fire-wall are not captive.
If you undo the bolts from the luggage compartment side, the nuts will drop down on the foot-well carpet.
You will be severely challenged trying to re-install the nuts!
Best access to replace the nuts and washers is with the dash removed.
