Making any Lotus Elan or Lotus Elan +2 handle exactly how it should begins by making sure the rear suspension toe-in is correct.
Unfortunately the original chassis and suspension design does not provide any adjustment to compensate for manufacturing tolerances.
Installing a high quality rear adjustable A-frame makes setting the rear toe-in an easy task by means of a simple turn-buckle adjuster.
